[Notice]Revisions to Abnormal Gameplay Sanction Criteria

Hello. This is the Godius:EternalWar operations team.

Recently, we have received numerous inquiries regarding sanctions and appeals related to abnormal gameplay. We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate our criteria for detecting and penalizing abnormal play.

Since the launch of Godius:EternalWar, we have been continuously monitoring various game data, including records of attacks, magic, and skill usage, to provide a fair gaming environment for all users.

In particular, when abnormal usage patterns that are unlikely to occur in a normal gaming environment are repeatedly identified, we determine whether it constitutes abnormal play by comprehensively reviewing relevant logs and system detection results, and have taken measures such as restricting game access accordingly.

Through this notice, we would like to inform you that we are partially revising our abnormal gameplay sanction criteria based on recently received appeals and internal review results, and that we are re-evaluating previously sanctioned accounts by applying these updated criteria.

■ Revisions to Abnormal Gameplay Sanction Criteria

Until now, we have detected actions that could affect gameplay, such as abnormal attack, magic, and skill usage speeds. If abnormal patterns exceeding a certain threshold were confirmed, we considered them subject to sanctions.

However, after reviewing long-term accumulated game usage data alongside recent appeal cases, we concluded that a more precise set of judgment criteria is necessary for certain borderline cases.

Accordingly, as of August 14, 2026, we are partially revising the criteria for penalizing abnormal play.

This revision does not mean we are relaxing our sanctions to allow abnormal play. Rather, it is a measure to more clearly distinguish between various play patterns that can occur in a normal gaming environment and genuinely abnormal usage, thereby increasing the consistency and accuracy of our sanctions.

■ Review of Previously Sanctioned Accounts Based on Updated Criteria

We determined that applying changed criteria only to future users would be inappropriate in terms of the consistency of our sanction policy.

Therefore, we are also re-evaluating accounts previously sanctioned for abnormal play by applying the same updated criteria effective today.

As a result of this review,

“Accounts where abnormal usage patterns were identified during previous detection processes, but upon applying the currently updated sanction criteria, do not meet the threshold required to maintain a permanent game access restriction”

will have their existing sanctions lifted.

Sanctions will be lifted for some of the accounts currently under review that meet the above condition.

This action does not imply that all previous sanctions were incorrect judgments.

Furthermore, it is not an arbitrary lifting of sanctions based solely on individual preferential treatment or appeals from specific users.

We are simply applying the same revised criteria to previously sanctioned targets and taking action based on those results.

    ■ Information on Past Detection Records of Unbanned Accounts

We would like to clearly address the most likely concern regarding this measure.

The lifting of a sanction does not mean that the previously confirmed game usage or detection records for that account have been erased.

Some accounts did exhibit patterns that could be considered outside the normal range during their gameplay, and we are not deleting these records or changing them into normal play records.

However, the fact that some abnormal patterns were identified is not synonymous with the judgment that they clearly met the criteria for a permanent game access restriction.

Through this criteria revision, we aim to clarify our judgments on these borderline cases. As a result of applying the updated criteria to past sanction cases, we are lifting sanctions only for those specific accounts where maintaining a permanent ban was deemed inappropriate.

This is not an action that denies past detection results, but rather one that more clearly refines the criteria for sanctions and applies them consistently.

    ■ Background of Initial Sanction Criteria and This Revision

At the time of the sanctions, we reviewed game usage records and took action according to the detection and judgment criteria in place at that time.

However, as a result of continuously reviewing accumulated data and various cases during our operations, we identified areas requiring more sophisticated judgment, which led to this revision of the sanction criteria.

Permanently fixing the detection and sanction criteria during game operations actually makes it difficult to respond appropriately to new types of abnormal play or borderline cases.

Therefore, we continuously review and improve our internal detection and judgment criteria as needed, and this measure is also part of the criteria revision process for more accurate and consistent sanction operations.

    ■ Notice on Selective Actions Due to Retroactive Application of Criteria

This measure is not a blanket lifting of all previous sanctions.

For accounts that still meet the current sanction criteria even after applying the updated criteria, the existing access restrictions will be maintained.

Therefore, sanctions are not being lifted simply because an account was penalized in the past. The decision is made by comprehensively considering each account's game usage records and the updated sanction criteria.

Even if users notice different outcomes regarding sanctions, please understand that this is because the usage records and detection results for each account are not identical, and we are applying the same criteria to all accounts for our judgments.

    ■ Existing Usage Records Will Be Maintained Even if Sanctions Are Lifted

This lifting of sanctions is not a measure that deletes past usage or detection records.

The relevant game usage records and abnormal play detection data will be maintained internally. If identical or similar abnormal usage behavior is confirmed again in the future, we may make a comprehensive judgment including these past records.

In particular, even if an account has had its sanction lifted due to this criteria revision, if identical or similar behavior is confirmed again in the future, we will not provide separate leniency by linking it to this past sanction lift.

Any abnormal gameplay confirmed in the future will be strictly dealt with according to the updated current sanction criteria.

    ■ This Sanction Lift Does Not Mean Relaxed Responses to Future Abnormal Play

Godius:EternalWar will continue to monitor actions that alter the speed of attacks, magic, and skills using abnormal methods, or that gain unfair advantages in gameplay, in order to protect the rights and interests of users who play the game normally.

Furthermore, the criteria for detecting and judging abnormal play may be continuously revised according to changes in the game environment and usage patterns.

This criteria revision does not mean our management of abnormal play will become lax.

On the contrary, we will continuously refine our detection and judgment criteria based on accumulated data to respond more swiftly and strictly to clear instances of abnormal usage.

    ■ Final Notice

This measure is not intended to protect specific users or overturn previous sanctions.

It is a measure to apply the revised sanction criteria equally to previously sanctioned accounts and, based on the results, lift the sanctions on certain accounts where maintaining a permanent access restriction is deemed unnecessary.

For accounts whose sanctions are lifted, their existing game usage records and related data will be kept intact, and if abnormal usage behavior is confirmed again in the future, strict actions will be taken according to the operational policy.

Godius:EternalWar will continue to regularly check and improve our abnormal play detection and sanction criteria so that users who play normally do not suffer unfair damage.

At the same time, we will respond strictly under any circumstances to abnormal usage behavior that undermines a fair gaming environment.

    Thank you.
