The 2026 Season Pack introduces a host of changes in F1 25, and the game feels new with the update. While the base game remains the same, we can enjoy the 2026 season. This includes all the latest rosters, new rulesets, and a fresh track. If you’re like me and love the Career Mode, here are my top recommendations this year. Whether you go for a driver journey or co-op, the first task is to choose a team. Assuming you’re going with the default settings (not bringing back Schumacher to the grid), here are my top recommendations, keeping in mind different types of skill levels. However, Isack Hadjar isn’t really irreplaceable, and you will be able to fit right in. At first, you’ll be second in command behind Max, who will be driving one of the fastest cars on the grid. Once you get a few upgrades in, you can then start to move up the hierarchy by doing well in races. While it’s not necessary for you to get podium finishes from minute zero, there will be pressure to perform well. This is a good save for beginners and veterans alike in terms of general difficulty. Racing Bulls Formula One Team Screenshot by Destructoid This one isn’t for the faint-hearted, as you’re officially joining one of the weakest teams on the circuit. If you take the place of Dawson, your team is essentially a pair of rookies trying to take down the giants. Things won’t be easy, and Racing Bulls doesn’t have the best of technical setups, and getting the upgrades will be time-consuming. However, you can create a tale of legends if you ultimately manage to win a race or two. Then, the final dream is to get the Championship. Audi is a better team compared to Cadillac, but neither of them offers much. If you want an easier save, go with Audi. If you want something harder, go with Cadillac. Best Teams in F1 26 Career Mode

There are 12 teams available in the Player Career mode (excluding your custom creations). Whether you go for a driver journey or co-op, the first task is to choose a team.
