Wizards of the Coast and Invoke Studios revealed the first gameplay for its upcoming action-adventure game, Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons, at today’s Gamescom Opening Night Live event. The new trailer shows protagonist Kaatri’s relationship with Tasha, the ancient witch queen who grants her power. The game is scheduled for release in 2027. The gameplay showcase shows off more of Kaatri’s warlock powers, which primarily allow her to see raw magic in Darkon, the world around her. She can use various spells, many of them familiar to Dungeons & Dragons players, to navigate the world around her, solve puzzles and battle monsters.
