Hello, this is the DragonSword : Awakening team.We sincerely apologize for the significant confusion and concern caused by our previous [Advance Notice] Steam Workshop Support Plan & Mod Policy announcement.We have taken the feedback shared with us since the announcement seriously as a team.■ Retraction of Notice and GuidelinesThe previously published Mod Guidelines document is retracted and will not be enforced.The policies related to the [Advance Notice] announcement have not been enacted and nothing has been applied.■ That said, we kindly ask you to observe these two minimum principlesActions that infringe upon the rights of users who have purchased the game or DLCUnauthorized use of content that has not yet been officially released※ These are not new regulations, and there are no measures or enforcement plans in place. We ask that you understand these as requests for the creative environment we build together as a community.■ Background of the AnnouncementRecently, we became aware of a few Mods created in ways that are outside our direct control. To prepare for such unanticipated forms of Mods, we judged it would be appropriate to share standards in advance, which was the background for this announcement.While the intent was to provide advance guidance, the notice was written in a level of detail and tone more suited to formally enacted regulations, leading to misunderstandings that restrictions were already in effect and causing a chilling effect on community creative activities.We acknowledge that our preliminary review was insufficient.■ Path ForwardWe will reconsider the direction of Steam Workshop support from the beginning.Going forward, when such announcements are necessary, we will make sure to thoroughly review and communicate with the community before sharing them.Thank you to everyone who shared their honest feedback.— The DragonSword : Awakening Team
