Multiplayer, Save System & Restaurant Improvements
Patch - v0.1.5-ea.10This update focuses on multiplayer stability, performance, save-file safety, and quality-of-life improvements throughout Deep Blue Sushi.Multiplayer ImprovementsImproved multiplayer performance, especially in sessions with more players.Reduced unnecessary network traffic for distant and inactive objects.Optimized Sea Scooter synchronization for smoother movement on weaker connections.Improved Harpoon and fishing-related synchronization.Optimized Sushi Rolling synchronization. Minor visual differences may occur during preparation, but the final state is synchronized correctly when interacting or serving.Improved Fish Trophy synchronization and reduced unnecessary data transfers.Optimized distant fish simulation to reduce server workload without affecting visual quality.Reduced unnecessary restaurant simulations when players are far away.Improved state correction to reduce sudden snapping and teleporting.Improved stability for players with slower or less reliable internet connections.Reduced unnecessary processing and network updates in both solo and multiplayer sessions.Fixed an issue where the squid ink effect could remain permanently on players in multiplayer.Fixed an issue where serving trays could disappear or become non-interactable after the player carrying one disconnected and rejoined.Save System ImprovementsAdded automatic rolling backups for save slots, player profiles, and game settings.Added automatic save recovery when the main save file becomes damaged or incomplete.Improved protection against save corruption caused by crashes or interrupted writes.Save files are now validated before replacing the previous working version.Damaged files are preserved separately instead of being immediately overwritten.The game now prevents automatic saving over an unrecoverable save file.Added safer handling for older saves and missing save data.Corrupted save slots are now detected and safely blocked until deleted or recovered.Improved save deletion to prevent removed slots from being unintentionally restored from old backups.Existing save files remain fully compatible with the updated system.Restaurant & Customer ImprovementsCustomers will no longer place a second order.Opened tables can now be closed again.Empty items, trash, and dirty trays can now be discarded without a confirmation prompt.ControlsAdded a separate Rapid Press keybind for button-mashing actions used during the Fish Challenge and Shark Punch.The default key remains Left Click.Changing this keybind will no longer affect other Left Click controls.The keybind can be changed from Settings → Controls → Rapid Press.Loading & StabilityFixed an issue that could cause errors while loading certain game content.Improved the loading and activation behavior of the Dressing Scene.Improved overall stability in release builds.Thanks for all your reports and feedback!
