Lionsgate and Blue Motion Games launch arcade game John Wick: Continental Pursuit
Blue Motion Games and Lionsgate have launched John Wick: Continental Pursuit, a two-player, motion-based arcade game. Inspired by the billion-dollar action film series starring Keanu Reeves, the arcade machines will deploy first at Dave & Buster’s arcade restaurant locations in the U.S. John Wick: Continental Pursuit serves as the inaugural first-person player arcade cabinet for the franchise. John Wick: Continental Pursuit combines cinematic gameplay with motion technology andintegrated special effects to create a highly responsive, simulation-driven arcade experience. Built for commercial environments, the game takes in different inputs from gameplay, motion, and players and closely aligns them to enhance realism, while the force-feedback targetingsystem adds tactile response. The two-player format supports a shared, side-by-side gameplay experience that enhances engagement and social play appeal. The cabinet features an illuminated marquee, premium materials, and thoughtful design, extending to the sculpted vehicle form and ergonomically designed seating to deliver both visual impact and player comfort. Built using Unreal Engine, John Wick: Continental Pursuit is structured around short, scene-based gameplay designed for high-throughput operation. Three levels are available at launch, with 3- 4-minute sessions that support continuous player turnover in peak environments.Integrated scoring and progression systems are paired with a live operations framework thatenables remote updates and ongoing content releases. The cabinet integrates 3DOF actuator-based motion seating, a 75-inch commercial-gradedisplay, multi-directional audio, and wind effects, into a single platform. It is engineered fordurability, serviceability, and high visibility in demanding arcade environments, with acommanding physical presence designed to capture attention and convert foot traffic into active play. “From the motion system to the gameplay architecture, this machine was designed forhighvolume arcade environments, maximizing performance while driving replayability and ROI,” said Salim Sabbagha, president of Blue Motion Games, in a statement. The launch reflects enduring investment in premium IP-based, hardware-driven arcadeexperiences that combine cinematic production with physical interaction. John Wick: Continental Pursuit delivers evolving player expectations while supporting the operational demands of today’s arcade floor.
