Letters from the Tower...
Hey folks, Thomas here! So, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the response to Twisted tower. The support from the community has been absolutely overwhelming. And seeing so many of you posting about the game, sharing your favorite moments, leaving reviews, and generally just loving this weird little tower has been incredibly affirming. That's not even mentioning the fact that we hit an OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE rating on Steam (pinch me), and then there are all of the kind words coming from other indie devs and game creators… seeing people whose work i've admired for years talking about Twisted Tower and sending their support my way is … well… What is happening?!After spending five years working on the game, it's beyond surreal to suddenly have people all over the world playing something that, for so long, existed mostly in my head and on my computer. I'm totally blown away, and I know I'm repeating myself at this point but, THANK YOU. Meanwhile, in a dark corner of the tower...As wonderful as all of this has been, the launch is very much not the end of my work. Me and my bug-crushing machine James Tusha (from Signal Spike Games) have been working through the bug reports coming in, fixing issues as we find them and generally making sure the tower is behaving itself as much as possible. I'm actually really happy with how solid the game has been overall, but naturally, a few bugs have crawled out of the walls now that we have all of you turning over every flagstone.I've recently pushed a new build for you all (v 1.0.4.3.1)! It includes minor bug fixes, UI clean-up, and added checkpoint stability... and that's not all, more work is underway! If you've reported something, thank you for your patience while we continue to work through everything.Sorry, what did you say?Ok, so. I've seen more than a few messages asking if we will have any additions of localization for different regions and I'm happy to say that yes, work is underway on implementation for a handful of major languages. Translations are being prepared and I'm working through the process of getting everything into the game and making sure it all behaves properly. I will continue to tinker on improvements and touches behind the scenes, and making sure the tower is still getting some love. For now, best thing you can do is make sure you keep the game up to date, and if you run into anything strange, let me know over on the Twisted Tower Discord server, it's still the best place to send bug reports and let me know if something has gone horribly, horribly wrong:JOIN THE TWISTED TOWER DISCORD Thank you all again (and again, and again) for making this launch so incredibly special. You have made my wildest, twisted dreams a reality.Back to work!— Thomas ❤️
