I'm starting to lose track of Arc Raiders dupes at this point, but Embark says it just fixed another one

In a fresh post on the official Arc Raiders Discord server, community lead Ossen confirms, "We have just pushed a hotfix on all platforms to mitigate a duplication issue as well as the UI bug in the Expedition screen that showed Skill Points instead of Mystery Rewards for players on their fourth Expedition." "As we stated before regarding the use of exploits, we will continue issuing bans on accounts that have been gaining significant advantage," Ossen adds. Dupes have hit Arc Raiders like a rash, with new methods and targets appearing like clockwork. Recently, players have noticed a curious influx of pink-rarity weapons with the exact same attachments, alongside classic money mules like rare, stackable ducks. The latest dupe has been called "even easier" by some players, as it's evidently tied to dropping items with careful timing, making it easy to multiply anything in your loadout. Arc Raiders doesn't have a global economy or auction house – Embark actually decided against adding something like this after building one in early development – so in practice, duping is often just a minor form of cheating, and it's a lot less frustrating than wall-hacking, lag-switching, RPM-breaking cheaters. That said, when you run into somebody with endless utility items, consumables, or throwables, dupes can have a very real impact on engagements. And if a dupe spreads quickly enough, the economy for a season can get flooded, with players getting instant access to high-level upgrades and weapons with zero risk pr effort. Even if it doesn't get you unfairly killed, duping can still cheapen the game. The irony, as players have pointed out, is that drawing attention to a dupe by spreading it will make it a higher priority for Embark and likely hasten a fix, but not without consequences.
