My Prime membership ran out this time last year, and seeing as I'm the world's worst for not cancelling free trials I take on subscription services, I'm not allowing myself to try one this Prime Day. That's okay though, because I know from covering this seasonal sale that it's often the other retailers who really offer the best prices. With that in mind, I'm going to be scouring the shelves at Newegg to find price matches and better discounts than Amazon can provide.

Thankfully, there are loads of anti-Prime Day gaming deals to be found at Newegg. The store is running its Fantastech sale in tandem with Amazon's summer offering, which covers a vast array of the shop's wares. Gamers have loads they can shop for at Newegg, including desktop PCs, monitors, laptops, components, motherboard bundles, gaming accessories, and more.

I'll be highlighting deals we've spotted this week that jump off the shelves, as well as trying to find hidden gems, price matches, and better offers than Amazon has. A budget-friendly little ATX board for a cheaper build, there's little that can go wrong with the ASRock B650M. With $50 off the final price you're spending just a hair under $100 for a board ready for PCle 5.0 and a Thunderbolt 4. View Deal

It's not flashy and it's not fancy, and the brand isn't one of the more well-known on the market. However, this 1TB KingSpec SSD is one of the cheapest sticks on Newegg's site right now - and that counts for a lot in 2026. With a solid review ranking and $60 off it's worth consideration. View Deal

Gigabyte's 200Hz QHD IPS panel is going for $100 off its launch price in Newegg's anti-Prime Day deals, an excellent upgrade for anyone taking the jump to a 1440p-friendly GPU without piling onto the final setup price. View Deal

The Fractal Design Scape wireless headset is back down to its lowest price of the year at Newegg, thanks to a $30 discount. This super sleek PC / PS5 headset has been $139.99 in the past, but not since last year. View Deal

DDR5 RAM can easily run you into the $500s right now, so I wouldn't underestimate this sub-$200 price point. Is it the best stick in the world? No, but if you need to upgrade to DDR5 as a matter of urgency it's a (relatively-speaking) budget-friendly step up. View Deal

Make sure to use the promo code for the full savings here, as with the full $40 off this 16GB DDR5 kit is undercutting a lot of the market at the moment. No, it's not great by 2025's standards, but with prices showing no signs of slowing this is a relatively solid offer. View Deal

Listen, this $219.99 sales price isn't great. The Samsung 990 Pro 1TB was on sale for less than $100 this time last year - but drives have skyrocketed in price in 2026 and this is a better rate than we've seen in the last few weeks. If you're just skimming through saving amounts you might miss this absolutely excellent offer on the dual-mode MSI MAG. $30 off doesn't sound like much, but you're getting 4K at 144Hz and FHD at 288Hz for just under $250 in Newegg's anti-Prime Day deals and that's about as much of an all-rounder as you'll see this week. A solid bundle offer here, netting you an ATX motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5 processor, and that all-important Samsung 990 Pro SSD. Considering that drive would have taken up the bulk of this price tag on its own just a few weeks ago, that's a fantastic offer. View Deal

The Fractal Refine has dropped back down to 2026's best price so far, with a $120 saving at Newegg taking us to $479.99. This is about as good as it gets for a solid mid-range chair punching above its weight in ergonomics. That subtle design certainly helps keep things slick as well. View Deal

The MSI MPG offers both an OLED panel and a 360Hz refresh rate - that's pretty impressive for just a little over $500. If you're pairing a QHD monitor with a mid-range GPU this is going to look fantastic. View Deal

An on-page discount and account-holder-only promo code brings the MSI Shadow 3X OC RTX 5070 back down to the card's original MSRP. That's nothing to sniff at, though, this one's tough to find in the $500s at times. View Deal

After a cheap and cheerful tower to see you into the RTX 50-Series generation without making your eyes water? This Stormcraft Sirius should do the trick. There's one important note here. To achieve this low $899.99 sales price, you're having to drop down to DDR4 RAM - that's a step back from current DDR5 standards.

Sure it's only $100 off, but it's rare to find an RTX 50-Series gaming laptop for under $1,000 these days. You're normally looking at RTX 4050 jobs in this price range. It's still a starter rig, with an Intel i7-13620H and 512GB SSD but it's excellent value overall.

You're making some sacrifices to keep this RTX 5060 gaming laptop on the right side of $1500. That 512GB SSD is a tad smaller than I'd have imagined this time last year, and the 144Hz display is on the weaker side. However, considering you'd be hard pressed to find this GPU in a cheaper machine, value is certainly on your side.

It's true, the 55-inch LG C5 hasn't been $1,999 for some time now, but this is still a solid saving. Last year's panels are the best value right now for anyone looking to upgrade, and this one even comes with a bizarre disco ball. View Deal

The Asus TUF A18 is a fantastic machine for pure component value. It doesn't invest your cash in a luxury chassis or a high-end display. Instead, you pay competitive rates for components otherwise sitting higher up the price scale - and in 2026 that's like gold dust. This configuration pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 260 with an RTX 5070 GPU while keeping that larger display.

A budget-friendly RTX 5060 gaming PC that goes for RAM size over speed. There's 32GB of memory in here (rare these days at this price), but it's DDR4. If you're looking to get by on lighter games, this is still a solid rig though.

This is an RTX 5080 gaming PC with a bit of a bite. The rig is setup with that high-end GPU and a sturdy 32GB stack of DDR5 RAM, but you're dropping the luxury system down a peg with the mid-range Intel Core Ultra 5 250KF Plus processor.
