How to get your Shell back in Mortal Shell 2

If you've lost your Shell in the Mortal Shell 2 prologue, I have some bad news for you - you can't get it back. It's okay though, this is meant to happen. Elsewhere in the game, though, you can get your Shell back, swap it out for others, and upgrade it - it's your most important weapon, after all. If you're stuck without a Shell, though, here's what you need to know about getting it back, including what happened to Harros, your tutorial Shell, in case you missed it.What happens to Harros Shell in Mortal Shell 2? This is supposed to happen and takes place regardless of whether you defeat the Tar Golem or not. If you don't defeat the Tar Golem, Harros steps in to save you, the Harbinger, defeating the Golem on your behalf. As he turns his back, thinking himself safe, the Tar Golem stabs him in one final act. Meanwhile, if you do defeat the Tar Golem in Mortal Shell 2, the enemy will carry out his final attack anyway, still destroying Harros' Shell and leaving the Harbinger without one. Progress through the rest of the prologue without your Shell and you'll eventually find yourself in the Marrow Keep, at which point you meet Zhirelle and can locate eight Mortal Shell 2 Shells that you can keep. How to get Mortal Shell 2 Shells back (Image credit: Cold Symmetry) Any of the eight Shells you obtain after the prologue are yours to keep, but you can still lose them in combat. Once you take enough damage, the Harbinger is forced from the Shell, and you'll only 'die' if the Harbinger then also reaches zero health, with your Shell therefore providing an extra 'life', as it were. When your Shell is lost during combat, you can revive them by visiting any Beacon on the Mortal Shell 2 map. This returns your Shell to you at full health, and also refills any abilities and your Mether's Pulse. Alternatively, you can get your Mortal Shell 2 Shell back by attacking enemies with melee attacks. Performing melee attacks as The Harbinger fills a gauge on the bottom right-hand side of the screen. When this reaches 100%, you can summon your Shell back, but only at part health. You can then use Mether's Pulse - if you have any charges - to heal them. Levelling up your Harbinger using Mortal Shell 2 Gloom gradually increases the amount of base health your Shell has when it respawns. © GamesRadar+. Not to be reproduced without permission. [/url]
