Mega Garchomp Z in Pokémon Legends Z-A is finally about to be a reality, nearly two months after we received the Mega Dimensions DLC. TPC has finally revealed the important details surrounding the Pokémon, including how to obtain it.How to obtain Mega Garchomp Z in Pokémon Legends Z-A To get the Mega Garchomp Z, you're going to need the normal Garchomp, and there are a few more prerequisites.A Garchompite Z Stone (more on that in the following part). Access to the Mystery Gift function from the Link Play Menu. Typically, it will take an hour of gameplay for you to unlock the feature. Access to the Mega Dimensions DLC. If you don't own the DLC, you won't be able to get the stone (and hence, no mega evolution either).Online connectivity while redeeming the mystery gift.Cleared at least one Hyperspace adventure in the DLC. This distortion will be created once you redeem the mystery gift, and the location will be highlighted on the map. Enter the distortion, and Mega Garchomp Z will be waiting for you. No, you can't add that creature to your party. Instead, you'll have to defeat Mega Garchomp Z to win the Garchompite Z stone. Once you get the stone, you can now use it to mega evolve and get your own Mega Garchomp Z. I will be adding a few more steps for the fight based on how difficult it might be. As of writing, Mega Garchomp is already available, pending you complete/have already completed the above-mentioned steps. Unfortunately, Mega Garchomp Z isn't free to obtain, unlike the Legendary Mewtwo that was available for all. Additionally, you'll need a base Gible, which can be caught in Wild Zone 8 just after you finish Main Mission 10. Level up the Gabite to level 49 after leveling up Gible to level 24, and it will then evolve to Garchomp. Hand it the stone, and you'll be able to mega evolve it to Mega Garchomp Z.
