Subsequent expansions didn't perform according to expectations, based on a new report, and it's clear that the game was not succeeding at retaining players or drawing new ones in. Between a FOMO-based seasonal approach, a new saga starting with The Edge of Fate, and internal issues at Bungie, Destiny 2 is meeting its demise on June 9.
