XBOX 25th Anniversary Celebrations Are Coming To McDonald’s, and In-Game Rewards Are On The Menu

As part of XBOX 25th Anniversary celebrations, some of the biggest XBOX titles are launching McDonald’s game-inspired menu items as part of the celebration. McDonald’s is partnering with XBOX as part of its 25th anniversary to offer in-game rewards for some of the brand’s most recognizable gaming franchises. These franchises include Halo, Fallout, and Forza. Blizzard Entertainment properties (being that they’re an XBOX property now) are joining the equation with World of Warcraft, Candy Crush and Overwatch to round out the ensemble at McDonald’s. SVP, chief marketing officer for McDonald’s UK and Ireland, Tim Kenward, says, “Gaming is all about imagination and the worlds we love to get lost in,” adding, “What excites me about this partnership is that we’re bringing parts of these iconic gaming worlds to life, giving fans the chance to experience food they have only ever seen on screen.
