Weekend Update – We are continuing to work on Solarpunk with full energy
Hey everyone,we would like to give you a quick update before the weekend.Right now, we are fully focused on improving Solarpunk. We also want to share a roadmap with you, but preparing something like that properly takes time — and at the moment, we are putting that time mainly into important fixes, stability, and issues that directly affect your gameplay experience. So first, here is an overview of the most important things we fixed and improved this week.Fixes Added additional input prompts for changing rotation and height when building. Fixed a backpack issue that could make the inventory unusable for clients in multiplayer. Added a repair function for inventories that were corrupted by the backpack bug. Fixed the Electronics Research Table UI not displaying researched items after reopening. Fixed the merchant map marker appearing at the wrong position in the Airship Dock. Fixed the radial menu being inverted when Y-axis inversion was enabled. Fixed crop plots reappearing or duplicating after reloading a save. Fixed the dough recipe not unlocking correctly after picking up wheat. Fixed an issue that could cause players to fall through the Airship. Improved or fixed Airship collisions and deaths when touching the Airship. Updated the save state file naming convention. World names now officially support language-specific characters and whitespace. Added a migration system for save states created before version 1.0.3, ensuring compatibility with the new file naming convention.Balancing & Improvements The first melon and wheat plants now yield 2 seeds to help ease early game progression issues reported by the community. Cotton now grows 25% faster to improve early game progression. There are also a few smaller things included in the update, but these are the most important points from our perspective. For Xbox and PlayStation players: Please be patient a little longer. The update first needs to go through the platform verification process. We hope this will move quickly. Nintendo Switch 2 users will need to be a little more patient. We also want to say: We are here. We read your reviews, your posts, and your bug reports. Really. Our brains are burning right now, and the team is giving everything. We currently still have 16 open A bugs that can noticeably affect the gameplay experience. Not everyone is affected by each of these bugs, but they have high priority for us.So there is still a lot to do — but we will keep going.Thank you to everyone who is playing Solarpunk, giving feedback, reporting bugs, and supporting us ????. We are sorry for every bug that pulls you out of the game or frustrates you. We know that launch days are very intense, and we want to improve the game step by step. And one small request: If you like Solarpunk and want to support us, a review helps us enormously. To the moon and back. ????Of course, we also understand if you would rather wait or do not want to write a review right now. Your honest opinion matters.Thank you for your patience, your support, and your passion for Solarpunk. We keep working.Solarpunk Team
