Ver1.007 Patch Notes & Addressing Run Environment Issues, and Some Workarounds
■2026/02/02 ver1.007\[Bugfix] Fixed a bug where the Break Items "Fruit Basket" and "Mango Bouquet" weren't decreasing their uses as their descriptions stated.\[Bugfix] Fixed a bug where Boss Refights on Hard/Lunatic, as well as Boss Refights on any difficulty when playing on Adventure Difficulty Hard/Lunatic were dropping Dream items upon winning.\[QoL] When initially targeting with basic attacks or attack spells, your cursor will now ignore Shikigami, Half-Phantoms, and other such ally summons when determining its starting position.\[QoL] Made it so you still gain Battle Points from Boss Refights.\[QoL] Slightly optimized performance upon starting and ending battles.\[QoL] Changed the "Fatality Guard" buff to no longer activate against damage equal to at least twice the buffholder's max HP. This is less of a balance change and more of a change to make farming easier, so I've marked it as QoL. I've set the threshold to twice the buffholder's max HP just to be safe, but I'm wondering if this might be too high. I'm considering lowering the threshold as long as it doesn't seem like it'd cause balance issues.\[QoL] Properly implemented the "Flash Effect Strength" option. I implemented this option back in ver1.0006, but it didn't actually have any effect until ver1.007. The default is 50, and if you raise it to 100, it'll restore flashes to how they were in ver1.006 and prior. Some places with flashes that will be affected by this option are as follows: Opening chests, encountering enemies, starting battles, getting a game over, using spells, unlocking achievements, and when leveling up/down at base.* Numerous typo fixes and minor changes were also made. Thanks for all the email and comments alerting me of these!\[Addressing Run Environment Issues, and Some Workarounds]The following issues have been confirmed to sometimes occur in certain run environments. If you're experiencing any of these issues, the appropriate workarounds listed below might be able to resolve them.■The game won't boot properly with fullscreen enabledPlease try going to your Steam Library, right-clicking on the game, selecting "Properties" then "Installed Files," and then clicking the "Verify integrity of game files" option.■The game won't boot properly on Steam Deck after changing the window sizePlease try either (or both) of the following workarounds:#1: Switch your Steam Deck to Proton 9.0 and try booting the game again.#2: Delete "opt.ngd" from the game's SaveData folder. This will reset your options to default, which may make the game boot properly again.■The game won't boot properly or has other issues when a Victrix controller is connectedTry booting the game without the controller connected.Alternatively, if you go to your Steam Library, right-click on the game, then select "Properties" then "Controller," then change "Use default settings" to "Enable Steam Input," this may also resolve the issue.\[Important Info Regarding the "Poison Touch" Skill]I've confirmed that the Poison Touch skill may sometimes cause the game to crash upon triggering in battle. At present, I'm working to investigate and resolve as quickly as possible, but until I can deliver a fix, I recommend against learning this skill. I'm terribly sorry to all those who are currently still in the middle of playing through the game!I'm really thankful for all the feedback everyone has given on Labyrinth of Touhou Tri.The majority of the QoL updates I've implemented are in response to the thoughts everyone has voiced. The many reviews the game has received, both positive and negative, have also served as tremendously helpful references and development encouragement. \[Addressing Run Environment Issues, and Some Workarounds]
The following issues have been confirmed to sometimes occur in certain run environments.
If you're experiencing any of these issues, the appropriate workarounds listed below might be able to resolve them.
■The game won't boot properly with fullscreen enabled
Please try going to your Steam Library, right-clicking on the game, selecting "Properties" then "Installed Files," and then clicking the "Verify integrity of game files" option.

Please try either (or both) of the following workarounds:

This will reset your options to default, which may make the game boot properly again.
