Tomo's Teatime - Shall We Talk?Hello, this is Tomo.The Solene Dungeon Update is coming to a close.We are working towards the plan we have for the later half of the year as we finish the improvements and dungeon updates of the first half.We hope to share all the contents currently in preparation with players in near future.◼︎ Aernas Tournament AfterthoughtsWe have finished the Aernas Tournament recently.I was touched by how many players were passionate towards GrandChase.Many viewers who saw the event in real-time sent a lot of support and respect towards the participating players as well.As I watched the tournament unfold,I wished that many players could share such fun in the future as well.I hope to continue the tournament regularly in the future.However, there is room for improvement.We received a lot of feedback and have gone through them all.We looked over the operations and preparations internally as well.The biggest issue was the cheating that happened during the tournamentand that it was discovered after the tournament was over.Since it was a tournament, some teams have suffered unfair lossesand this made the tournament feel less significant.With the next tournament, we’ll be more careful about screening from the preliminary stageand prepare an environment where we can check in real-time as the tournament is in progress.And we will also provide the tournament titleto all participants of the tournament.We sincerely apologize that the event's operations did not run as smoothly as it should havesince players likely spent a great deal of time preparing for the tournament.We also thought a great deal about the rewards as well.We believe the core part of the tournament reward is ‘honor’.And title serves well to symbolize honor.We’ve received a lot of feedback that thetournament titles could not be used because the stats were too low.We believed that the stats could stay as isbecause we thought of a feature that separates the stat from the appearance.However, with such a feature not available in the game yet,we believed that making the players wait with no set date is not a good decision to make.Therefore, we have decided that thetournament title stats should match that of ‘[True] Origin of Chaos’ from Void (Invasion).We believed that those that participated in the tournament were skilled enough to deserve such a feat.From now on, tournament titles will permanently retain the ranking record associated with the awarded title.We have also learned something new.We believed that to provide greatest stat that cannot beacquired in the game to a limited set of playerswould be devastating to others.Therefore, we decided to put a focus on ‘Records’ rather than ‘Stat Value’.From now on,we will leave rankings from 1st Place to 3rd Place in the tournament titles.The records can be checked by all players through the Title Collection.This will be applied to all tournament titles from the past as well.Stats will be set to the end-game content of the time of the acquisition of the title,and the rankings will also be on display.We will continue to improve title featuresso that honorable rewards can really stay ‘Honorable’.We will additionally reinforce the following. - Set a definite parameter on the rules for teams that are late - Check and review variables and rehearsals on the existence and absence of Spectators - Reduce the overall time on the tournament to make it progress faster - Prepare in-game events to go along with the tournamentWe will prepare better so thatmore players can have great memories for the next tournament.◼︎ ‘Sanctuary of Divine Beast’ Master ModeA new Master Mode will be added.Some players are already worried about fighting chickens... well, we hope players look forward to it.In this Master Mode, the boss will drop items.Previously, the Master Mode only dropped a 1-timeMission reward.However, we received feedback from players thatthose players who clear repeatedly for fun receive nothing for multiple clears.Therefore, we added drops equal to the normal difficulty.However, since normal difficulty is more efficient in terms of clears over time,we made it so that Master Mode isn’t structured for farming.We hope players see this as an attempt to apply some player feedback.◼︎ Shared InventoryWe are finally bringing a shared inventory update.I am personally very happy to see this happen.We cannot make every item available to be sharedbut we first included major items used in growth.We will continue to look and review items to be added to the list of items available for shared inventory after the update as well.I am glad I no longer have to move cards through the warehouse anymore.I am finally looking forward to cleaning out my card collection that I put off for a while.The next stepis to bring Register All and Lock feature to the Card System.Afterwards, we will work and review Card Drop Rate Adjustment and Fusion Improvements.We will go over these one by one.Today’s teatime ends here.I have a lot more to
