???? Solarpunk Sneak Peek – 86% Recent Reviews & What’s Next
Hey everyone, for everyone who has not checked in for a while or is just discovering Solarpunk, we want to give you a small summary of what we are currently working on and what is planned next.Over the last few weeks, we have continued fixing bugs, collecting feedback, and reading many of your reviews, posts, and feature requests. At the same time, we are preparing a larger update that will include several new pieces of content and improvements. And yes: reviews are still extremely important to us. They help new players understand how Solarpunk is developing. Our global review score is currently around 82%, the reviews from the last 30 days are around 86%, and the last 7 days are even around 90%. A huge thank you for that already. ???????? Cross-Platform MultiplayerAs mentioned before, we are currently working on cross-platform multiplayer. The current multiplayer system is not stable enough and limits us too strongly to individual platforms. That is why we are changing the system. Our goal is that in the future you can play Solarpunk together across platforms — whether you are on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch 2.We know that many of you also want more features, bug fixes, and new content. We fully understand that. Important: these tasks are still happening in parallel. The move to crossplay does not mean that we are stopping other improvements. This change is technically important, should improve existing multiplayer issues, and creates the foundation for further multiplayer improvements.????️ Feature VotingWe have also put a feature voting system online:https://solarpunk.featureupvote.com/There you can submit your own feature requests and vote for suggestions you would also like to see in Solarpunk. This helps us a lot to understand which wishes are truly important to you and which topics we should consider most strongly for the roadmap.???? Furniture with InventoryOne wish that fit very well with our current work was making furniture more useful and adding more storage options. That is why we are working on giving certain furniture pieces, such as dressers and cabinets, their own inventory.???? Character Editor ImprovementsAnother topic many of you mentioned is the character editor. We originally wanted to offer more options before release, but unfortunately had to postpone some things shortly before launch. Now we are catching up. Here is a first small look at two new models:???? What Else Is ComingWe are still working on many more things that will be released with upcoming updates.Among other things, we are currently working on: more decorations more flowers and plants solar panels for sloped roofs ???? more quality-of-life improvements more fixes and stability improvementsSo a larger update is on the way. We do not want to show everything at once yet, but we wanted to give you a small first look at what we are currently working on.⭐ Reviews Help Us a LotIf you enjoy Solarpunk and want to support us, a Steam review helps us enormously.
