???? Solarpunk Mid-Update – Crossplay, Feature Voting & Small Fixes
Hey everyone,we have a small mid-update for you.Over the last few weeks, we have read many of your posts, reviews, bug reports, and feature requests. A lot of great ideas are coming in from the community, and we want to understand better which of them are most important to you.???? Cross-Platform MultiplayerOne of the bigger topics we want to work on now is Cross-Platform Multiplayer. The current multiplayer system is still strongly tied to the individual platforms. Our goal is that you will be able to play Solarpunk together across platforms in the future, no matter whether you are on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch 2.For us, this is not only an important feature by itself, but also a technical foundation for further ideas and future improvements.Important: While we are working on this, we need to freeze our update intervals a little. As things stand now, we are not planning a larger update for roughly the next three weeks. Please do not take this as a fixed promise or exact date — with crossplay, something can always come up. But we want to be open with you about why updates will probably be a bit quieter during this time.Of course, we will continue working on additional fixes and improvements in parallel.????️ Shaping the roadmap togetherWe want to share a roadmap with you. However, we do not want to build it quietly behind closed doors and then simply say: “This is the plan now.”The community has many different wishes: more decoration, more building pieces, more quality-of-life features, more animals, more plants, more automation, more multiplayer features, and much more. That is why we want to involve you more directly. We have launched a Feature Voting System. There you can submit your own feature ideas and vote for existing suggestions:LINK: https://solarpunk.featureupvote.com/This helps us enormously to understand what really matters to you and which topics currently bring the most value to the community. So if you have ideas: please use the voting system.Add what you would like to see, and vote for the suggestions you would also like to have in the game. This way, we can prioritize better and prepare the upcoming roadmap together with you.????️ Small update / current fixesThere was also a small update with a few fixes and improvements: Fixed animal type always showing as chicken for clients. Possible fix for character editor settings not being replicated correctly. Fixed gamepad navigation in the player inventory getting stuck in the hotbar after a backpack upgrade and opening a chest. Adjusted the research description for Airship Dock V2. Moved the “Unstuck” buttons from the settings into the in-game menu. Moved the Socials button in the in-game menu further to the left.Thank youThank you to everyone who plays Solarpunk, gives feedback, reports bugs, joins discussions, and continues to support us. It really means a lot to us.If you like Solarpunk and want to support us, a review still helps us enormously. No pressure — we completely understand if you would rather wait. But every honest review helps us make the game more visible and continue working on it.Thank you. ????Project we likeChop Chop Inc.Before we go, we also want to show you a project from friends of ours. Over the last few weeks, we have read many of your posts, reviews, bug reports, and feature requests. A lot of great ideas are coming in from the community, and we want to understand better which of them are most important to you.
One of the bigger topics we want to work on now is Cross-Platform Multiplayer.

The community has many different wishes: more decoration, more building pieces, more quality-of-life features, more animals, more plants, more automation, more multiplayer features, and much more. That is why we want to involve you more directly.
We have launched a Feature Voting System. There you can submit your own feature ideas and vote for existing suggestions:

So if you have ideas: please use the voting system.
Add what you would like to see, and vote for the suggestions you would also like to have in the game.
This way, we can prioritize better and prepare the upcoming roadmap together with you.
