Sirius and Orion might be two different frames packed in one, but you can pick one of them as the primary brother in Warframe. While you will use both of them in the battle, picking the primary brother has some implications for your build. That’s where you’ll want to get your selection on point. For starters, you’ll always begin a run with your primary brother. You can switch freely once the run begins. However, what you can’t change is the frame on which you infuse a Helminth ability. When you infuse a Helminth ability, it will always be added to the primary son (aka primary brother). The abilities of your secondary brother/son will remain intact. While you can change your primary son, you can’t switch and exploit the Helminth ability system. This system could change in the future, but for now, you can’t use any of your gear with the secondary brother. Typically, the primary brother will be decided by the name you picked during the end of the Jade Shadows campaign. I chose Sirius, and he is now the primary brother. However, you can also change your decision after completing the Jade Shadows: Constellations campaign. Here comes the important part: there’s no harm in having either Sirius or Orion as the primary brother. However, I am using Sirius as my primary son with this build. First, I like to begin a run with him since he offers plenty of defensive abilities. Secondly, I intend to infuse him with Helmith abilities. Orion feels perfect as he is, and both his first and third abilities are immensely powerful. While the former strips armor from enemies and deals damage, the latter clamps enemies together and sweeps the area while dealing AoE effects.
