Patch Update – Item Recovery, Controller Improvements & Fixes
Hello everyone!First off, thank you so much to everyone who has supported Shelves and Sorcery since release. I've been keeping an eye on bug reports and feedback, and over the last couple of days I've been working through quite a few of them.Here are some of the more notable fixes and additions:Better Controller MovementMovement with the left joystick has been adjusted and should now feel much smoother and more responsive. It is no longer hampered by the previous full-axis movement setup.Recover Items from the Pause MenuThere is now a Recover Items button in the pause menu.If an item somehow manages to fall through the floor or get itself stuck somewhere it shouldn't be, this option will search for it, raise it back up, and highlight it so you can find it again.A few of the recent fixes have also been aimed at preventing items from getting into these situations in the first place, but this gives everyone a backup option just in case.The Merchant's Rest WaterThe water in The Merchant's Rest should no longer be so loud.More Fixes & PolishThere have also been a bunch of smaller fixes across the game, including:Incorrect LODs on several modelsPerformance improvementsVarious collision and item fixesGeneral polish throughout the shopsThere are plenty of smaller things being cleaned up as reports come in, so please keep sending them my way.Thanks again, everyone, for supporting the launch of Shelves and Sorcery and for taking the time to report anything strange you run into. Here are some of the more notable fixes and additions:
Movement with the left joystick has been adjusted and should now feel much smoother and more responsive. It is no longer hampered by the previous full-axis movement setup.
There is now a Recover Items button in the pause menu.
If an item somehow manages to fall through the floor or get itself stuck somewhere it shouldn't be, this option will search for it, raise it back up, and highlight it so you can find it again.

The water in The Merchant's Rest should no longer be so loud.
