Kingdom: Come Deliverance 2's Hans actor takes his role so seriously that he's opening a real "medieval-inspired bar" in the Czech capital, Prague

One of the best ways you can kill a few in-game hours in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is at one of the RPG's many taverns, sitting across from a crap-talking patron in a game of dice, a mug of ice cold ale at your side. Soon, you'll be able to replicate that experience in real life under the stewardship of Luke Dale, the actor who plays the most lovable royal you'll ever meet, Hans Capon. You'll have to travel to the Czechia if you aren't already there, but that's a small price to pay for the authentic Devil's Den experience. "Ever since I can remember, I've always wanted to run a pub, a restaurant, a cafe, something. Something that was bricks and mortar, something that felt real," Capon says in a new video all about his new Prague-based pub, The Nobleman. "Because so much of what I've done in my life has been acting, filmmaking, and more recently, streaming, and these things, however amazing they've been, there's an element of which it doesn't feel real to me, and I've always wanted a business that was mine that I could run and I could come to and I could be a part of a community and engender a great feeling in a community."https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/1fPxje7SLHk It's clear Dale and his team have a long way to go, and thus it's unclear what the final product will look like, but the bones of The Nobleman are extremely cozy in a way that most Kingdom Come fans only get to experience in the game right now. Dale, who lives and works in Prague, calls the tavern "a love letter to Prague, a love letter to the Czech Republic, and how much I love this city and this country and everything that it's given me." Unlike his pampered character in Kingdom Come, Dale is putting in the hours of hard manual labor to make his dream a reality, sanding down tables, transporting building materials, and moving around furniture. "It's like the equivalent of carrying sacks," he jokes in reference to an early scene in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. "A rare sight." Dale says The Nobleman is "inspired by the places where Noblemen would gather and conspire and socialize," noting that it isn't "a themed bar" or "tourist attraction, but a local space where local people can have a really good beer, amazing food, and a bloody great time." As part of the medieval theme, you'll see "trinkets of shields and things on the walls and things that will remind you of that world," which sounds downright delightful. The Nobleman is planned to open on October 1.
