Mega Man Dual Override is the iconic Capcom mascot’s first mainline entry since 2018’s Mega Man 11, coinciding with the series’ 40th anniversary. Ahead of this week’s Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany, VGC got to go hands-on with a short demo of Dual Override, which suggested that Capcom is building a game that’s aiming to appease the hardcore fanbase the series has grown, while also making some elements slightly more accessible for newcomers.
