How to get the Flashlight in Subnautica 2
The depths of the ocean in Subnautica 2 can be quite dark when the sun is down, but we can continue our exploration with the help of the Flashlight. This underwater torch has a pretty strong beam of light that will help you find your way in the dark. The order in which you find these fragments doesn't matter. The first one is located near the first broken-down facility near the lifepod. Screenshot by Destructoid Head in through the entrance, and turn left. Go to the corner where the terminal is located, and you'll find the fragment next to it. Scan the fragment, and then return to your lifepod. We will now need to find the second and final one. Screenshot by Destructoid The second fragment is located to the east of the lifepod. It can be found in a cave situated approximately 110m from the lifepod. Stay between 250 and 300 degrees to the NW on your compass, and you'll come across a set of corals protruding out of the water. The cave is located directly underneath the corals; there's a gust of air that'll pull you down. Screenshot by Destructoid Here, you'll come across a lab bench. You'll find one fragment for the Wavemaker, a portable locker, and most importantly, the final fragment of the Flashlight. Complete the scan and head back to your lifepod.
