Help shape the future of Easy Red 2! A new Poll is live now!
Hello Soldiers!

With Blood on the Danube now released, we are already looking ahead to the future of Easy Red 2, and we want the community to help shape it.

Our new poll covers future campaigns, mission structure and balance, infantry and vehicle AI, new factions, weapons, gameplay features, console priorities, and more.

Take the poll now and help shape the future of Easy Red 2.

TAKE THE COMMUNITY POLL

The results will directly influence how we prioritize future updates. The most-voted requests will carry weight when we decide which systems should be improved, which parts of the game should be reworked, and which new campaigns, factions and features should receive attention next.

We will naturally also consider historical suitability, previously released DLC and development requirements considering what can realistically be delivered to a high standard, but this poll is not simply being run out of curiosity, its results will certainly be used as part of our actual development planning going forward.

TWO NEW CAMPAIGNS ARE ALREADY IN DEVELOPMENT

NEITHER WILL BE RELEASED AS A SEPARATE PAID DLC

While the poll will help us decide what comes afterward, we can now confirm that two additional historical campaigns are already being developed for Easy Red 2.

Neither campaign will be sold as a separate DLC

Our current goal is to release both campaigns before the end of 2026. We will share development previews and more information as work progresses.

IWO JIMA

The Battle of Iwo Jima will bring Easy Red 2 back to the Pacific in 1945, following the American amphibious assault against heavily fortified Japanese positions on the volcanic island.

Expect difficult landings, close-quarters infantry combat and defensive networks built around bunkers, caves and underground tunnels.

In Easy Red 2, we intend to depict the entire battle of Iwo Jima, as opposed to just the first 5 days being the fighting for Mt. Suribachi and ending with the raising of the flag, like depicted in most popular media. In reality, the fighting for Iwo Jima continued for 31 more days and included over 26,000 more American casualties.

BATTLES OF KHALKHIN GOL

The Battles of Khalkhin Gol will cover the largely overlooked 1939 border conflict between Soviet-Mongolian and Japanese-Manchukuoan forces.

This campaign will offer a very different early-war battlefield, with open steppe terrain, including large early-war tank battles, mixed with infantry formations, mass use of artillery and aircraft operating together on a large scale while both of these armies were in their very early stages of the war, a far cry from the state we find the Soviet Union in come 1945 as seen in Budapest.

BLOOD ON THE DANUBE — LAUNCH DISCOUNT STILL ACTIVE

In the meantime, Easy Red 2: Blood on the Danube is available now.

Fight through 35 missions across two new maps covering the Siege of Budapest, the Konrad Offensives and Operation Spring Awakening, with the new Hungarian and Romanian factions and dozens of additional vehicles, weapons, aircraft, uniforms and equipment.

The introductory 25% discount remains available until July 29:

Easy Red 2 has grown enormously thanks to its community, and your feedback will continue to play an important role in deciding what comes next.

Cast your vote, share the poll and tell us which battlefields you want to see in the future.

See you on the battlefield!
