It has been over two years since Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was released, and Square Enix has announced little about its successor, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, beyond a few vague hints. Yet, despite (or perhaps as a result of) the lack of news around the final entry in this long-gestating trilogy, there is a huge amount of hype surrounding the title. Many have expected it to feature in practically every major showcase since Rebirth's release, but, alas, it has yet to materialize.
