How to complete Treasure Hunt event in Disney Dreamlight Valley Screenshot by Destructoid To complete the Treasure Hunt event, you need to piece together two memories by solving riddles buried around the village. This is a pretty tricky undertaking, so here’s a full breakdown of how to tackle this process. Find gold cracks and special fishing spots around the valley. One golden crack and one event fishing spot spawn in a random biome each day. Dig the golden crack up using your Royal Shovel to receive a Treasure Trove Clue, and fish from the special red and gold fishing spot to receive another clue. There are seven different clues you may come across and need to solve. “Pickaxe meets rock somewhere peaceful.” “Beneath coral growth with a dazzling view.” “Under a pile of bone in a sunlit place.” “Stumped? Dig around the forest.” “Tip some purple caps somewhere swampy.” “Don’t forget to put out the fires.” “Getting warmer…break the ice somewhere frosted.” Find the correct locations mentioned in the hint. Remove the obstacle you find at this location. Open the golden chest or the green chest you find to receive a Memory Shard. Repeat this process until you find all four pieces of both memories. Go dig up your buried treasure at each of the locations featured in the memories. There’s no way to know which biome the gold crack and red and gold fishing spot will spawn in each day, so you need to carefully scour all of them to find it. The cracks are similar in appearance to the Cheshire Cracks from the past Cheshire Chaos event, but larger and brighter, making them overall easier to spot, while the fishing spots are similar to those featured in the Gift of Giving event. Treasure Hunt event memory location Screenshot by Destructoid Once you have all four pieces of the memory, you need to venture to Ariel’s secret island to dig up the treasure buried there. This is the location featured in the memory you pieced back together. Even if you recognize it without all four pieces, the treasure won’t appear until you have completed the full image. To access Ariel’s island, head down to the small island just off the coast of Dazzle Beach, right by Skull Rock. Walk over to the north end of this island to find a small wooden raft. Interact with the raft to sail off to Ariel’s island. On the island, head slightly right and look down to find the golden treasure spot. Equip your Royal Shovel to dig it up and claim the Pirate Mast reward. For the second memory, head back to Skull Rock island. Locate the golden glowing spot and equip your Royal Shovel to dig up the Pirate Throne reward. Once you have both of these items unlocked, you’re done with the event.
