We hear your feedback - hotfixes are on the way!
We want to take a bit of your time to talk about the state of the game and the feedback we’ve been receiving from you for past couple of hours since the game launched. First of all – thank you for buying the game and reviewing it on steam – we really appreciate the comments about what’s great about the sequel, and what are the things you don’t like at all. We are currently going through your reviews, comments, and reports on discord in detail. A lot of you have shared very specific issues, and there are some clear patterns we’re seeing across the board. The problems you’ve told us about : general bugs affecting gameplay and interactions issues with guest behavior and consistency problems in multiplayer and overall online experience performance drops, stuttering, and FPS instability controls not always responding as expected issues with saving, progress, and session stability in general We totally understand how much of an impact those problems have on your gameplay. Even smaller problems are adding up, and right now they are getting in the way of the game feel enjoyable. A large amount of these things has already been written down, we are doing our best to take care of them and add the most important improvements to the first hotfixes. This is not just a general statement from our side, we are doing out best to track specific cases and working through them one by one, so that we have all the main problems sorted out as quickly as possible. Right now, the team is working on: Stability We are working on eliminating situations that lead to crashes, freezes, and loss of progress. This is the top priority. Core gameplay issues We are addressing bugs that break or disrupt the gameplay loop, including interaction problems, inconsistentg guest behavior, and systems not working as intended. Multiplayer We are investigating reported issues with online play, including synchronization problems and overall stability in multiplayer sessions. Performance We are working on improving performance across different hardware setups, with a focus on reducing stutter and improving overall smoothness. Controls and responsiveness We are reviewing input-related issues to make sure actions feel consistent and reliable. A lot of the fixes for these areas are already in progress, but it will take some time for all of them to be correctly identified and corrected. The first round of improvements will start rolling out in upcoming hotfixes. These will focus on the most urgent problems. Bigger updates will follow, making more improvements, and fixing a lot of other issues you’ve mentioned. We want to be clear about one thing. This is an ongoing process. Not everything can be fixed at once, but the issues you are reporting are being taken seriously and worked on. The first hotfix with some of the issues will be dropping in the next couple of hours. The will do our best to communicate what’s coming in the next updates as we move forward, including what has been fixed and what is still being worked on. Your feedback is directly affecting these priorities and helping us focus on what matters most, and we would like to thank you for that and ask to keep them coming. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We know it takes effort, especially when things are frustrating, and it really does make a difference. Everything for the sake of creating the game that you’ll enjoy. The Big Cheese Studio Team
