It's been over a week since the launch of Early Access, but we're still just getting started. Patch 0.1.2 focuses on fixing a number of issues across various aspects of the game. We continue to make improvements to other issues, and are currently focused on solving issues related to Save Games, as well as introducing an Offline Mode. Balance Changes
  • Homebound Scrolls must now be held for a few seconds to activate

  • Shudder Matriarch now attacks more aggressively and follows players further

  • Reduced the preferred attack range for all Area of Effect and related abilities

  • Mirella's Shop on Vyr's Landing has a new item in stock

  • Reworked respawn rates for several resources such as trees and ores, generally making them respawn faster

  • A stray Verlai has wandered on to Vyr's Landing. We're not sure how that happened, but they'll be there until the next update!

  • Reworked an area to the North-West of the Shuddersands, where corruption has spread...

A note on Incense:

Many players have shared feedback that the duration of Incense feels too short, we'd love to hear your opinions on how to improve Incense, while ensuring that it feels like a valuable resource worth crafting. Please share your comments below, thank you!

Fixes & Improvements
  • World Save Backups are now created every 15 minutes to decrease the likelihood of a Save issue causing a large loss of progress

  • Fixed several cases where players could get stuck in a loading screen

  • Fixed an issue where the following achievements would unlock incorrectly: 'Smells terrible... Perfect!' & 'Potions for Days'

  • Updated several icons

  • Added a Invert X Axis setting

  • Reworded the 'Reflections' key binding

  • Updated Seek's ability VFX

  • Unbondable Familiars should no longer spawn spirits upon being defeated

  • Fixed an issue where Crafting queues would stop after reaching 4 full slots

  • Fixed an issue where Crafting Queues would sometimes not respect the inputted amount

  • Fixed an issue where you could not cancel a Crafting queue in some instances

  • Fixed an issue where certain abilities would not properly trigger Elemental Pillars

  • Fixed an issue where you could fall through the world at Vyr's Landing

  • Fixed an issue where the Inventory Screen could have the wrong opacity

  • Fixed an issue where Shudder's Suffocating Orb attack would not properly trigger

  • Fixed an issue with subtitles disappearing

  • Fixed an inventory duplication bug

  • Fixed an issue where heat in the Shuddersands would be applied from the wrong angle, rather than from the sun

  • Fixed several terrain gaps across the world

  • Key Bindings now properly apply if changed in the Main Menu; this previously only worked in-game

  • Fixed an issue where Credits would trigger several times in a row

  • Fixed an issue where the Silent voice type would, in fact, not be silent

  • Fixed an issue where Familiar unlocks wouldn't refresh properly

  • Tweaked the scaling of Building costs to better fit screen

  • Tweaked several DPI scalings to better support smaller resolutions

  • Fixed a bonding VFX bug

  • Fixed an issue where Pings would remain on map longer than intended

  • Fixed an issue where several Familiars had the wrong Element tag when bonded

  • Fixed an issue where certain items would trigger despite being in Astral Projection

  • Fixed the Celestial material of several Familiars not displaying correctly

  • Tweaked audio of Xilvant's when multiple are assigned to a Witchcraft Circle

  • Fixed an issue where players could end up in a broken view state upon join

  • Vex now properly displays as a Shifty both in-world and when bonded
