Released in May 2024, Wuthering Waves was Kuro's answer to Genshin Impact – providing a snappier take on combat, better fidelity in graphics, and more player-friendly gacha mechanics. It has since established itself as one of the best gachas on the market, recently winning the Players' Voice vote at The Game Awards 2025 after turning the game around following its lukewarm debut.
