Screenshot by Destructoid Sprite Chests are dark grey, heavy-looking metal chests with some dark pink gem accents and an overall blue glow to them. They look vastly different from all other loot containers you can open around the island, so once you know what you’re looking for, distinguishing them is quite easy. Every Sprite Chest you open is guaranteed to contain at least one Sprite. How to find Sprite Chests in Fortnite Similar to regular chests and other loot containers, Sprite Chests can be found randomly all around the island. There are many possible spawn spots for them, but not every spawn location will populate a chest in each round. Instead, Sprite Chests have a random chance of appearing at each possible location, which means you can only check the spots where they may appear and hope for the best. For a guaranteed chance of finding and opening a Sprite Chest, you’ll want to visit one of the many hidden vaults around the island. These treasure troves are the only spots where Sprite Chests are always guaranteed to appear. Screenshot by Destructoid Outside of vaults, Sprite Chests also seem to be more commonly found on mountains and under trees. As you explore and gather loot around the island, be sure to check these kinds of areas as you spot them for an increased chance of encountering Sprite Chests. Sprite Chest locations in Fortnite In total, there are around 30 or so possible spawn locations for Sprite Chests around the entire Fortnite island. You’ll never find this many present within a single match, though, as there’s only a chance one of these chests may appear at any given location, similar to how the spawn chances work for standard chests. Here’s a breakdown of the general areas to check for these rare loot containers, as well as a map with precise locations for Sprite Chest spawn spots you can visit around the island. In and around Sinister Strip. Around Shaken Sanctuary. At Cluster Coast. All around Frosted Flats. South of Heatwave Harbor. All around Sunken Shores. Best loot path for Sprite Chests in Fortnite If you’re hoping to maximize the number of Sprites you earn, here’s the best loot path we’ve found for finding and opening Sprite Chests on the island. This path starts south of Lifty Lodge and ends near the east end of Wonkeeland. It’s only the best path when a decent number of Sprite Chests end up spawning, which comes down to random chance and luck, so this path may be more effective on some runs than others. To follow this loot path, start off south of Lifty Lodge, then head north up the mountains. After reaching the edge of the island area here, proceed east for a bit before heading south down toward The Battlewoods. Once there, switch directions to head east for a while, then go south just before Wonkeeland. Finally, end your journey on the eastern edge of the Wonkeeland POI. Screenshot and remix by Destructoid As you make your way around the island hunting for Sprite Chests, you may want to check off some other tasks that pop up, too. Lots of missions ask you to visit specific areas, so since you’ll be doing lots of exploring anyway, consider venturing to all spawn locations for John Wick’s dog, all Stealth Guardian Missing Case locations, and all boss locations. 0 The post Where to find Sprite Chests in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 3 appeared first on Destructoid.
