Status Update | Remaster
Hi anglers!A short update from us, because it's been a while and you deserve to know where things stand.Work on the Remaster is very much ongoing. We're on it every day. But we'll be honest with you: everything is taking longer than we expected. Not because anything went wrong, but because the deeper we get into the project, the more we find that needs to be done properly rather than quickly. The VR rebuild in particular has turned out to be a massive undertaking. Rebuilding every mechanic to work the way it should in VR is far more complex than simply porting what already exists, and we'd rather spend the extra time getting it right than ship something that feels half-finished on your headset.[carousel autoadvance="true"][/carousel]Alongside that, we're working on multiplayer, the new UI, and bringing back the trophy room and the level editor. There's a lot happening in parallel, and each piece has to fit together before any of it is worth showing. We know waiting isn't fun, especially for a community that's stuck with this game for almost ten years. Thank you for that patience. It genuinely means a lot, and we're not taking it for granted. We'll share more when there's something real to show. Tight lines! And in case you missed it, we've also been working on a brand new location with new fish species: the Italy DLC. You can already find it on Steam, but we want to be upfront with you: it won't be arriving any time soon.It will launch together with the Remaster, because releasing a new map onto the old foundations wouldn't do it justice. Some things simply have to come first.https://store.steampowered.com/app/2495880/Ultimate_Fishing_Simulator__Italy_DLC
Hi anglers!
A short update from us, because it's been a while and you deserve to know where things stand.
Work on the Remaster is very much ongoing. We're on it every day. But we'll be honest with you: everything is taking longer than we expected. Not because anything went wrong, but because the deeper we get into the project, the more we find that needs to be done properly rather than quickly.
The VR rebuild in particular has turned out to be a massive undertaking. Rebuilding every mechanic to work the way it should in VR is far more complex than simply porting what already exists, and we'd rather spend the extra time getting it right than ship something that feels half-finished on your headset.

It will launch together with the Remaster, because releasing a new map onto the old foundations wouldn't do it justice. Some things simply have to come first.
