S4 Vision - Gravity Abyss Preview
In May, the Visional Wheel will turn once more, bringing the new S4 Vision: Gravity Abyss to Nalcott. Before that, new weapons/gear, the long-awaited Chef class optimization, and tech/facilities optimization will also debut in next version update (on May 13th PT)! Today, I'll present a preview with the latest information of the new S4 Vision foresight to all Metas.I. Gravity Abyss Gameplay Preview1. Gravity Loss Returns to NalcottThe gravity loss mechanic adds a new dimension to exploration, combat, and construction, bringing new experiences and challenges to Nalcott. With gravity loss making its return, you can once again enjoy vertical navigation and exploration.2. The Riftwalker DescendsIn S4: Gravity Abyss, the colossal Riftwalker is the cause of the gravitational anomalies affecting Nalcott. Its emergence presents Metas with new opportunities and challenges. When the Vision begins, the Riftwalker will soar through the sky, scattering mysterious artifacts in its wake. Metas who find these artifacts will receive generous rewards, including Abyssal Cores of various rarities. To open an Abyssal Core, you must spend Gravity Crystals, a unique currency. All information about the Abyssal Cores' contents is sealed within the abyss—an Abyssal Core could contain nothing, or make you instantly wealthy. You must decide whether or not to open Abyssal Cores based on your needs. If not, they can also be freely traded. The choice is yours!3. The Riftwalker's TrialAfter scattering artifacts, the Riftwalker will temporarily stop at a specific high-altitude platform. Courageous Metas can reach this platform through a rift and challenge the Riftwalker in a multiplayer co-op battle within a vertical space. Metas who pass the Riftwalker's trial will receive lots of challenge rewards.II. Visional Wheel OptimizationsIn this Vision, we will focus on addressing two key issues raised by the community. The first is allowing players to choose whether or not to experience the Vision without changing servers, thus avoiding loss of progression. The second is preventing global gravity loss from affecting regular play. The optimization plan is as follows:1. Visional World and Normal World: Starting from S4: Gravity Abyss, there will no longer be dedicated Visional Wheel servers. Instead, all servers will include both a Visional World and a Normal World. Visional events will only happen in the Visional World and will NOT affect the Normal World. You can switch between the Normal World and Visional World based on your preference.* A Visional World will be added to existing non-Visional permanent servers, allowing players on these servers to participate in Visional events if they wish.2. Gravity Loss in Specified Strongholds Only: In S4: Gravity Abyss, gravity loss will only affect specific Strongholds, so your combat and exploration in other areas won't be affected. You can still use potions or other methods to enter an anti-gravity state in normal Strongholds and the wilderness, allowing you to search for airborne rewards.III. Gravity Abyss Special Rewards PreviewIn S4: Gravity Abyss, mods and Morphed Deviations from Visional Wheel S1 will make their return. Additionally, we will introduce new Morphed Deviations, new Starfall series mods (including shiny mods), and new event cosmetics and collectibles. Precious rewards stored in Abyssal Cores also await your discovery!Brave Metas, are you ready to face the new Vision?Once Human Development Team
