While Take-Two has sent subpoenas to Microsoft and Discord to identify the people responsible for the leaks, Rockstar itself hasn't spoken about the footage until now. In a post on Twitter, Rockstar finally talks about the situation, acknowledging, "We know that many of you have been waiting to hear from us regarding the events of the past week." Rockstar calls the leaks "heartbreaking for our team," and adds, "this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time."
