New Monster Preview丨Acting Physician&Lady Sea Nettle
Dear Metas,Recently, the ecology of Nalcott has undergone new changes once again. In the abandoned medical facilities of the workshop area, there have been sightings of what appears to be unattended physician garments moving autonomously. Additionally, in shallow water areas, a new type of Deviant that relies on "water" for movement has emerged.Frontline investigations have confirmed that these two types of anomalous entities have been provisionally named: Acting Physician and Lady Sea Nettle. Dear Metas,
Recently, the ecology of Nalcott has undergone new changes once again. In the abandoned medical facilities of the workshop area, there have been sightings of what appears to be unattended physician garments moving autonomously. Additionally, in shallow water areas, a new type of Deviant that relies on "water" for movement has emerged.
Frontline investigations have confirmed that these two types of anomalous entities have been provisionally named: Acting Physician and Lady Sea Nettle. They are scheduled to officially appear after the version update on July 9(PT). They possess distinctly different methods of disguise, behavioral logic, and combat mechanics. Metas, please remain highly vigilant.
Acting Physician
"Health and safety alert: At medical facilities within various strongholds on Nalcott, signs of autonomous activity have been detected in some discarded blue medical coats. Any unattended medical garments with a faint blue radiance inside are potential high risk entities."
Recently, Metas have frequently encountered an anomalous entity disguised as an unattended physician's garment in environments such as hospitals, medical rooms, and operating rooms within strongholds in the workshop area—the "Acting Physician". Based on preliminary tracking, the following known intelligence is now disclosed to all Metas:
Appearance
Disguised state: In its disguised state, the Acting Physician resembles a surgical coat or patient coat spread on the ground, with occasional, extremely faint static sparks appearing at its edges. When a Meta approaches, a piercing blue light will illuminate the inside of the coat, accompanied by orb lightning rapidly inflating the coat to reveal its full form.
Exposed state: After entering its exposed state, a blue-glowing computer terminal becomes visible on its chest and abdomen area. Its head is equipped with a medical headlamp, and four mechanical tentacles extend from the lower hem of its coat, with sparks and electric currents continuously erupting from their tips. Rather than a "physician," it resembles a set of surgical equipment driven by Deviant Power.
Behavior
The Acting Physician exhibits an abnormal, obsessive research interest in the "gastric health" of Metas. It seems to be attempting to understand the relationship between human starving, energy, and physical status. However, its method of expressing this "academic passion" is to directly seize nearby targets and conduct surgical research!
The Acting Physician's footwear features a suction cup structure, allowing it to occasionally adhere to walls or ceilings. If a target gets too close, it will attempt to grab and forcibly drag them into the "surgery" process! A caught player can break free from control by timely QTE struggles.

Combat Mechanics
Core Mechanics - Terminal Weakspot
The terminal is its true form! Destroy the computer terminal when it's exposed. Otherwise, it cannot be completely defeated!
When fighting the Acting Physician, the most important objective is not its housing, but its computer terminal. The terminal is only exposed during the casting of certain skills. If the terminal is not destroyed in time, the Acting Physician will trigger a recover when its HP is low. After the terminal is destroyed, the Acting Physician loses its recover ability and grabbing ability, and can be killed normally.
Energy
The Acting Physician's attacks will prioritize stealing the target's energy upon hit. If successful, it will recover its own HP; if the target's energy is 0, it will deal massive DMG.
Metas, please ensure you have sufficient supply before combat and pay attention to energy changes during the fight. Simple advice: when facing the Acting Physician, being filled up is always a good idea.
New enemy: Lady Sea Nettle
"The water sac is the true form. That beautiful woman is merely a shell it controls." — Frontline researcher's notes
The erosion of Stardust upon the Nalcott never ceases. As this power further seeps into aquatic ecosystems, a new Deviant form has emerged in shallow water area. It lurks in shallow water areas, appearing elegant and harmless in form, yet constantly seeks water to absorb.
Appearance
Lady Sea Nettle's shell has a near-human silhouette, with a graceful figure and a dark, flowing gown trailing on the ground, moving with light and elegant steps. Her entire head is completely enveloped by a transparent sea nettle jellyfish. At the center there is a core that continuously emits an eerie blue light, pulsing slowly deep within the water sac like a cold, icy heart.

Behavior
Her head is a special water-storage structure. All her actions are driven by "water." The fuller her water sac, the more active and aggressive she becomes. When her water level drops, her condition noticeably deteriorates, as if she were a living engine fueled by water.
Lady Sea Nettle obtains water from all available sources—rivers, rainwater, and unfortunate prey that venture too close. Upon discovering prey, she will prioritize draining the target's hydration. When the target's hydration is Insufficient, she will then proceed to drain their HP.

Combat Mechanics
The Combat with Lady Sea Nettle is, in essence, a battle of offense and defense centered around "water".
During combat, be mindful of avoiding her tentacles. Lady Sea Nettle uses water mist sprayed from her tentacles to restrict the target's movement, then stabs her tentacles into the target's body to begin siphoning moisture. The danger increases with each second of being drained. However, maintaining sufficient hydration can provide more room for error in combat. She prioritizes draining hydration. If you maintain good hydration, even if caught, you will have more opportunity to break free and counterattack.

At the same time, closely observe the state of the water sac in her head. When full, the sac is plump and swollen, protecting the internal core. When the water is depleted or the head sac is damaged, the sac rapidly shrivels, and the blue core is exposed, like a deflated plastic bag clinging to the surface of the blue core—this is the her most vulnerable moment and your only opportunity. Preventing her from reabsorbing water and trapping her on dry land will be the key to her defeat.

That concludes all the content for this new enemy report. The full extent of the threat posed by Acting Physician and Lady Sea Nettle may only be fully revealed when you encounter them face to face.
