New Equipment Set 'Champion': Efficiency Analysis
‘Game of Thrones: Kingsroad’ added the new equipment set ‘Champion’ via a season update. As the seventh equipment set in the game, it features buffs that accumulate with each attack, making the character stronger. In particular, it is drawing much attention for increasing Critical Rate and Critical Damage at max stacks. Champion Set Detailed Stats The Champion 3-Piece Set grants the 'Adrenalin' buff to players upon hitting enemies with an attack. This buff stacks up to 5 times, increasing Attack Power with each stack. With the 6-Piece Set, when the Adrenalin buff reaches 5 stacks, Critical Rate and Critical Damage are increased. The Adrenalin buff loses 1 stack when its duration ends or when taking damage from an enemy. Since all stacks do not disappear when the duration ends, players can easily maintain max stacks simply by avoiding enemy attacks. Note that debuffs such as Burn are not considered hits, so they will not reduce stacks. ▲ Champion Set Effect when Equipment Rank is Max 28 (Photo: Gukmin Tree) ▲ Effect of selecting a secondary set based on set research (Photo: Gukmin Tree) ▲ You can check whether the buff is active via the blue smoke on both hands (Photo: Gukmin Tree) Efficiency Comparison with Main SetsAmong the 7 equipment sets, only 4 offer high practicality. ‘Savant’ delivers maximum effects with just a single skill use, while ‘Brute’ provides passive effects. Meanwhile, ‘Tempest’ and ‘Champion’ allow players to stack buffs by attacking enemies to reach their maximum effects. ▲Summary of Rank 28 Attack Stats for the Highly Practical 4 Sets (Photo: Created by Gukmin Tree)Among these, the sets that increase Attack Power are Savant and Champion. Looking at the value alone, Champion is about 1% higher. Of course, while stacks decrease and performance drops upon taking damage, it is not a big deal since stack recovery is easy. Increases in Damage Dealt can be found in the Brute and Tempest sets. Among these, Brute has the lowest value, but offers the advantage of being always active. On the other hand, Tempest leaves much to be desired, as its effect is applied for only 6 seconds after the buff reaches max stacks. While Crusher reaches up to a 95% damage increase, it only triggers when attacking enemies in a groggy state, resulting in low practicality. Additionally, Champion holds high value as it increases both Critical Rate and Critical Damage simultaneously. Savant is also highly competitive, being the only set that increases Active Skill Damage. If players want to target maximum damage, combinations that balance out stats evenly are recommended. For example, using both Savant and Champion increases Attack Power excessively, resulting in lower efficiency. Therefore, we recommend checking your character's stat values and choosing combinations that balance stats as evenly as possible, such as Savant with Tempest, or Champion with Brute.
