Modern Warfare 4 brings back campaign mode early access after 2 year hiatus from CoD

Image via Activision https://embeds.beehiiv.com/a8d62108-86ed-4039-bf49-44877ba62c15 Activision confirmed that the list of digital pre-order benefits expanded today by giving players access to the MW4 campaign a whole week early on Oct. 16, with multiplayer modes and extraction shooter game type DMZ completing the package a week later for the full launch on Oct. 23. “In the Modern Warfare 4 campaign, you fight as Private Park, a young South Korean soldier facing live combat for the first time alongside his squad,” Activision said of the classic, linear, cinematic campaign missions. “What begins as a routine mission descends into chaos when North Korea launches a full-scale invasion, forcing Park and his unit into a desperate battle through collapsing cities and counteroffensives.” The new perspective from Korean soldiers in a new location for the sub-franchise is a fresh new take on the Modern Warfare experience, but don’t worry, some old-heads are returning, too. “Beyond the front lines, operator-turned-outlaw Captain Price is operating outside the system he once served,” Activision said. “A hunt for revenge draws Price toward a weapon powerful enough to shift the balance of power, setting in motion a conflict far greater than he ever anticipated.
