MindsEye will receive a new mission which will provide evidence of the alleged sabotage aimed at the game’s launch, the CEO of developer Build a Rocket Boy says. Last month studio CEO Mark Gerhard stated on the company’s official LinkedIn page that more staff were being made redundant, stating that while management took responsibility for the outcomes of the project, the game’s launch was also “affected by factors beyond normal operational challenges and a competitive environment”. Gerhard went on to claim that t one of the main reasons behind MindsEye’s commercial failure was “overwhelming evidence of organised espionage and corporate sabotage”, and that it was working with external partners and legal advisors to work towards prosecution.
