MapleStory: Idle RPG gets Chaos difficulty in new update
Nexon’s MapleStory: Idle RPG, co-developed with Able Games, has announced a new game update that features the new ‘Chaos’ difficulty for three Party Quests. The sequentially opening three Chaos difficulty quests will release at one-week intervals, starting with the ‘First Time Together’ quest that’s available now. Players can join a special in-game event to increase reward equipment drop rates for 1 week after each target Party Quest opens, along with the addition of an ‘Exploration’ for automatic Party Quest progression and three new Legendary Artifacts. Players can experience the classic MapleStory gameplay through accessible auto-battle features that allow characters to progress even while offline. The update also brings new and diverse gear, skill mastery and extensive character customization options. The update’s “New Exploration System” allows players to acquire equipment by automatically progressing through Party Quests and normal gameplay simultaneously. One Exploration Ticket is recharged every week, and a single ticket allows for two hours of exploration. The new ‘Alliance Badge’ grants an effect that increases the Attack rating of all party members by 10%, and if multiple party members equip it, all effects are stacked to apply simultaneously. The ‘Horn Flute’ increases the final Damage rating of the player and their companions by 10% while companions are summoned, and during ‘Chapter Boss’ battles, this effect is doubled for the player. The ‘Cursed Doll’ grants +15 Accuracy and a 7% increase in Damage. If an opponent evades the player’s attack, the final Damage effect disappears for 5 seconds, but the Accuracy is applied at three times its value instead. MapleStory: Idle RPG is now available to play on iOS and Android. The post MapleStory: Idle RPG gets Chaos difficulty in new update appeared first on GamesBeat.
