I Can’t Believe God Of War Got Upstaged At State Of Play
I would have thought that a new God of War spin-off being revealed and immediately released would be a high point of any State of Play, but Sons of Sparta got upstaged. This is the exact scenario that I, a big God of War fan, typically hope for with any PlayStation showcase. Marquee PlayStation exclusives are growing fewer and farther between, and a Metroidvania spin-off with a beautifully crafted pixel art style is more than worthy of its spot as the State of Play finale—the only problem is, Castlevania made a much stronger impression.
