How to get to The Bazaar in White Knuckle

The Bazaar, added with The Nest update on June 25, is a secret room separate from the fifth main and highly mysterious new region in Campaign mode. A place of barter hidden in the nooks and crannies of the Quiet Computing Complex, the search for the Bazaar is on. Leave the Pipeworks behind and gear up. Prepare yourself for the longest ascent of your life in the unforgiving White Knuckle. Here is everything you need to know about the Bazaar when heading into your next White Knuckle run.https://embeds.beehiiv.com/a8d62108-86ed-4039-bf49-44877ba62c15 Table of contentsHow to unlock The BazaarAll Bazaar locations in White KnuckleInterlude: Ascent 01Interlude: Ascent 02Interlude: Ascent 03What is The Bazaar? How to unlock The Bazaar The first thing is to buy the hatch access point as a Facility Upgrade, or else all Bazaar entrances will be locked. You specifically need to unlock the DP-17 Hatch Access for 100 Facility Credits (accumulated with Banked Roaches from previous runs). You can unlock this either at a Break Room Upgrade Console or on the Facility Upgrades tab in the main menu (top-left corner of the screen). Purchase DP-17 Hatch Access on the Facility Upgrades list, so the hatches are permanently open every time you enter Campaign or Endless Mode. Keep in mind that this sector will lock again if you have the Iron Knuckle modifier enabled. All Bazaar locations in White Knuckle There’s only one way to enter the Bazaar in Campaign mode, and that’s during Ascent Interlude. This level has three variations and acts as the section between Pipeworks and Habitation, occurring at 1200 meters. This level always starts with an elevator at the beginning, where you must reactivate it at the halfway point, navigating across the outer perimeter to flip the manual override controls. The Mass will chase you once you activate the elevator at the start of the level, regardless of variation. The Bazaar appears as a hatch in both Campaign and Endless modes. You can also find this secret room in the Silos, Pipeworks, Habitation, Abyss, and Nest Break Rooms in Endless. These entrances are more accessible than those in the Campaign, so grab as much as you can early on so you can barter with the Roach before heading to Habitation Yellow. The Scanner is a handy way to spot any Bazaar hatch spawns, as it’ll beep rapidly the closer you are to an entrance. Here are the three ways the Bazaar can spawn in Campaign mode. Interlude: Ascent 01 Image via White Knuckle Wiki The first variant is the easiest and quickest to find. You will see the hatch to the far left from the elevator that spawns on the ground. By visiting the Bazaar now, you won’t activate the Mass until you return to Ascent Pipeworks. Interlude: Ascent 02 Image via White Knuckle Wiki As soon as you enter the cave chamber, way before you see the elevator, there’s a pool of water on the ground and metal beams above you. While you can reach the beams without any items, you will need Rebars and Pitons to get to the Bazaar. Two Rebars and one Piton spawn inside this chamber, so be sure to pick them up first. Look up when standing on the metal beams to locate the hatch. Interlude: Ascent 03 Image via White Knuckle Wiki At the base of this level, where there’s no elevator in sight because it’s suspended in the chamber above you, turn right at the big doors, past the large pipes and Injector to find the final hatch location tucked away in the corner. What is The Bazaar? Screenshot via Dark Machine Games The Bazaar is a safe haven you can go to only in the interlude sectors of White Knuckle in Campaign. These areas are completely separate from unlocking perks and saving your progress on Floppy Disks. Instead, this sector is a tiny hub featuring The Nest vendor, Roach. You can exit the Bazaar via the way you came in, whereby the Mass won’t rise until you return to the Interlude level in Campaign or exit the Break Room in Endless. Roach’s stock is randomized every time you enter the Bazaar. You can trade items with Roach and talk to him if Roach Mode is enabled. There is a counter tracking the value of the combined items you’ve offered to trade for an item of your choice. Place the items you wish to trade alongside what you want to purchase on the table in front of the Roach. Refer to the light below the counter turning green to indicate the offer has gone through. Interact with Roach to confirm the trade. Your items will disappear, and you can take what remains on the table for safekeeping inside your inventory.
