The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin celebrates its half-year anniversary with a major update, the Half-Anniversary Festival. Ban joins the fight to complete the legendary lineup. A new story arc uncovers the secrets of Ravens, while a brand-new weekly Labyrinth challenge tests your strategic instincts. Deeper growth systems and the toughest boss yet await those who are ready, and new and returning players can grab Meliodas for free. Britannia's story keeps moving forward — and this is the perfect moment to jump back in.

Since launch, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has welcomed Meliodas, Diane, and King, followed by Escanor, Merlin, and Gowther. With this update, Ban — the Fox Sin of Greed — completes the legendary lineup, bringing all The Seven Deadly Sins together in Origin for the first time.
A former thief who gained immortality after drinking from the Fountain of Youth in the Fairy King's Forest, Ban is a fierce close-combat fighter with unmatched regeneration. Free-spirited and reckless on the surface, Ban's loyalty to those he loves runs deeper than almost anyone in Britannia.
In The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Ban fights with nunchaku, greatsword, and gauntlets, giving you a versatile hero who fits into a wide range of team compositions.

With Ban's arrival, the new region of Ravens joins the map — Britannia's most notorious haven for crime and thieves — where a tangled tale of betrayal and twists unfolds around Ban and a cast of colorful characters.
After learning that someone in Ravens is buying up Star Fragments in bulk, Tristan and his companions set out to investigate — only to be cornered by bandits in the lawless city. They're saved by a mysterious thief named Kala, striking a deal with her to get to the bottom of it all. The investigation that follows brings new faces into the fold and sets off a thrilling chain of events.
A brand-new weekly content mode, the Labyrinth, is joining the game. Built around variety rather than raw power, it rewards you for collecting and strategically deploying a wide roster of heroes — not just your strongest one.
As you progress through the Labyrinth, deploy your heroes to match the conditions presented at each step, or make the most of randomly occurring events to push deeper inside. Currency earned along the way can be exchanged for items in a dedicated shop. The Labyrinth is scheduled to launch with the September 2 update.
Elsewhere, Monspeet of the Ten Commandments, who appeared in the original story, returns as a new boss challenge: Beast of Destruction, Indura Monspeet. Previous boss content topped out at Abyss difficulty; Indura Monspeet introduces Transcendence, the highest difficulty ever available, demanding careful preparation and strategy. Chained pre-emptive skills that restrict your movement and set up brutal follow-ups make this fight unlike anything you've faced before.
Half Anniversary update also introduces Transcendence, an upgraded growth system available once you've completed standard engraving refinement. It requires dedicated materials and currency, and comes with a chance of success or failure — failure only consumes materials with no additional penalty, while success grants exclusive bonus stats, extends the maximum enhancement tier, and even adds unique passives to select gear.

To celebrate the half-year milestone, the Half-Anniversary Festival arrives. In the Spin, Orb of Greed event, up to 500 million Star Fragments will be distributed throughout the event period. Complete three daily missions to earn event currency, which can be spent for a chance to win up to 30,000 Star Fragments in a single spin.
For the first time in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, a Poll event is coming. From August 26 to September 2, vote for three heroes from the game's past pickup banners on a dedicated event page. The three heroes with the most votes will headline a Poll Summon lineup in the next update.

To mark the milestone, Meliodas, one of the IP's most popular heroes, previously available only through pickup summons, is now guaranteed on your first summon after completing the tutorial. If you've already finished the tutorial, he's waiting for you the moment you log back in.
Following King (guaranteed at Act 2 clear) and Diane (guaranteed at Act 11 clear) from the June 24 update, Meliodas brings the total to three Seven Deadly Sins heroes any player can unlock for free just by playing.
Growth has gotten friendlier too: Elite Monster kill rewards no longer require Cube Keys, and Elite and Boss Monster respawn times are now under 15 seconds. The Mastery UI has been reworked so growth paths for each weapon are easier to read at a glance, while improved auto-tracking and a new Pet Expedition feature make gathering materials less of a chore. On top of that, a new option lets you consume keys and receive rewards at double the rate in a single action.
Half Anniversary update adds a tutorial skip and auto-progression through Chapter 1, along with major control improvements in previously tricky segments — making it faster and smoother than ever for new and returning players to get into the story.

Beyond everything above, Half Anniversary brings even more to explore: a gift event with the Seven Deadly Sins at Liones Castle that rewards Pick Up and Regular Hero Draw Tickets, a Half Anniversary login event, a new Time Attack difficulty for Guila, and Season 2 of the Timepsace Junction challenge content. We'll keep the updates coming to make sure there's always something new waiting in Britannia.
