Griffin Gaming Partners buys 3% stake in TinyBuild as Sand: Raiders of Sophie takes off
Griffin Gaming Partners (Griffin), a gaming venture capital firms with $1.5 billion under management, acquired a 3.24% equity stake in TinyBuild, which just published the fast-selling game Sand: Raiders of Sophie. Sand: Raiders of Sophie debuted in early access on June 22, and TinyBuild said it has welcomed more than 200,000 “scavengers” to the game. The game was built by two Ukrainian game studios — Hologryph and TowerHaus — and published by TinyBuild. The game took off after Burnt Peanut, a popular creator, featured the game.
