If you try to matchmake, you’ll end up with an error. The Web App and Companion App are running as usual, but you can’t play any online matches. However, you can still try the offline modes when the servers are unavailable. This includes the Career Mode, where you can take your favorite club to unseen glories. You can also step into the shoes of iconic legends and recreate their glorious careers in your own way. The revamped Career Mode has been my favorite pastime whenever there’s maintenance. Today’s maintenance affects FC 26 across all available platforms, including Nintendo Switch. The maintenance also includes older titles like FC 25 and FC 24 if you’re still enjoying those games.
