Fable at XBOX Showcase 2026

During today's Xbox Showcase, we unveiled our latest trailer and a first look at an important new character in our story: Isabel, the Hero of Wraithmarsh. Played by the incredible Hayley Atwell, Isabel is a Hero haunted by a troubled past. A past that has driven her to the darkest of places as she searches for the solution to Albion’s problems. In Isabel’s uncompromising view, Albion doesn’t need ‘Heroes’… it just needs her. And yet Isabel isn't the only dark force Heroes will contend with when they enter Albion. In our trailer we showed a first glimpse of one of Fable’s most iconic characters - The Jack of Blades. We can't wait for you to find out more about Jack's role in our reimagined Albion. On a lighter note, we can also confirm the return of another fan favourite from the original series. That's right, Demon Doors are making a comeback! These opinionated gatekeepers are a beloved staple of the original games and, as huge Fable fans, we couldn't make the game without them. Behind one Demon Door, we pit players against a foe so ancient and so iconic, that no Hero’s journey would be complete without facing it. You guessed it... It’s a chicken kicking minigame! Fable will launch on 23rd February 2027.
