Classic indie game Knytt has received a 20th anniversary version for modern PCs, and it’s entirely free

Critically acclaimed indie platformer Knytt has received a new 20th anniversary edition, entirely free of charge. Knytt was originally released back in 2006 by Swedish indie developer Nifflas, as a freeware game for PC. The game has players controlling the titular Knytt as he tries to find the missing parts of his crashed ship so he can repair it and return to his home planet. The game was praised at the time of its release, and eventually led to the sequels Knytt Stories and Knytt Underground, the latter of which was a much larger game with a paid PC and console release.
