Best Witchspire graphics settings for no lag and max FPS
Open-world RPG Witchspire is now out on PC, and the initial bit of performances on PC has been far from satisfactory. While the minimum requirements are pretty manageable, there appear to be odd instances of stutters and lags. This guide will help you solve that problem if you’re in the same boat as me. Image via Envar Games Fullscreen: Off (For some reason, you can’t change the resolution if you’re on fullscreen. There’s no native support for either 2K or 4K). Vsync: Off (Turn this on if you’re enduring plenty of lag. This will internalize the FPS and result in smoother gameplay) Quality Preset: Custom FPS Limit: 60 (I am staying at 60 until we get a few post-launch patches that sort out the optimization issues currently present). Texture Quality: Medium Effect Quality: Low/Medium Shading Quality: Low (Medium only if the gameplay remains smooth). Shadow Quality: Low (The shadows don’t even look good, so you’re better off without them) Foliage Quality: Medium (Turn this Low if required) Reflection Quality: Low (Once again, tweak this up if your device can handle the added pressure). Post Processing: Medium View Distance: Medium/Low Global Illumination: Medium For upscaling, you can opt for either TSR or FSR (for AMD devices). There’s no native support for Nvidia DLSS, which is a bit surprising. However, use this feature only if you’re lacking sufficient frames for the gameplay to be smooth. We will eventually need a few patches to deal with the lack of optimization, which seems like a trend these days with games made on Unreal Engine 5. 0 The post Best Witchspire graphics settings for no lag and max FPS appeared first on Destructoid.
