Battlefield 6 developers are "hoping" that players either return to the shooter or experience it for the first time when its big Season 2 update launches later this week. Despite being the best-selling game of 2025, Battlefield 6has continued to see a rapid decline in its player count over the last few months, and developer Battlefield Studios seems to be well aware of the drop off, as the team says it is anxiously biting its nails ahead of the release of Season 2.
