Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian studios – specifically, senior communications developer Aoife Wilson – has been streaming a Dark Urge playthrough of its own RPG for over a year now. On August 5, somebody, or some automated system, finally had enough of the game's stupid, sexy devils and flagged the latest stream as inappropriate, so risque are its characters. Larian publishing director Michael Douse shared a livestream violation notice sent to Larian, saying, "Baldur's Gate 3 is now cancelled." The notice appears to have come from YouTube, as the latest episode of the Durge playthrough is perfectly viewable on Twitch but conspicuously absent on Larian's YouTube channel. The notice reads: "Your LIVE 'Larian's Dark Urge Run: Claws' streamed on 08/05/2026 at 12:46pm has been discontinued because of a violation: Body Exposure and Sexualized Behaviors."
