John Wick’s adorable canine companion can be unlocked as a free Sidekick in Fortnite Chapter Seven, season three, but you have to put in some work to recruit them. To help you find and free this animal, you’ll need to know the possible spawn locations for it. This quest is unlike anything we’ve seen in past Fortnite seasons, making it a fairly daunting and tricky one to check off. A free Sidekick isn’t something you want to miss out on, though, so here are all spawn locations for John Wick’s dog in Fortnite. These spots are The Battlewoods and Sinister Strip, named POIs that are easy to track down since they’re marked by name. At both of these locations, the dog always pops up at the exact same spot, so once you know the right one to check at each, you’ll have a much easier time tracking it down. In every round, the dog is guaranteed to appear at one of these two locations, although which one it chooses is entirely random and unpredictable, which means there’s no way to know which POI to check. There’s no one best spot to check for the dog, so how easy or tough it is to find this animal comes entirely down to luck. The first possible location where John Wick’s dog might appear is The Battlewoods. When the dog is present around this area, you’ll find them in the sewer beneath this area. To find the sewer, head to the northeast corner of the main area. Screenshot by Destructoid Once you’re around the northeast edge of this POI, look for either the circular entrance to the sewer, or hop in the river and swim around to find a large, open entrance that leads into it. Either way gets you to the same spot. In the middle of the sewer, you’ll spot John Wick’s dog trapped in a cage with some NPC guards wandering around if this is the area where the dog chose to spawn in the round. If John Wick’s dog isn’t there, it means they are instead over in a building at Sinister Strip. To locate the dog around this area, head to the middle south end of the POI where you’ll come across a large building. Head into this building from any door and make your way to the entryway, which is a huge room with a grand staircase. The dog will be in a cage right in the center of the room, just a few feet in front of the stairs if this is where it chose to spawn in the round. John Wick’s dog has to be at one of these two locations, so you can ensure you unlock this friendly animal in any round as long as you manage to check both before it ends. The two possible spawn spots are fairly far apart, so it’s a good idea to land at one right from the battle bus so you have as much time as possible to try and check both areas. How to get John Wick’s dog in Fortnite Screenshot by Destructoid Now that you know the right places to check, you can get to work actually unlocking John Wick’s dog by freeing them from the cage, defeating the NPCs that spawn, and petting them. If you arrive at either location to find the dog already freed, you can skip the battle and get right to petting the dog to unlock them without the need for a fight. John Wick’s dog is a battle pass exclusive, and the quest for unlocking this canine is tied to it. This means you must have the battle pass unlocked to add this Sidekick to your collection. There are plenty of other tricky tasks waiting to be tackled around the island. Next, you might work on opening the Cluster Coast Hidden Vault, finding the secret aquarium, and tracking down a Zero Point Sprite. 0 The post All spawn locations for John Wick’s dog in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 3 appeared first on Destructoid.
