If you struggle with inventory management in Subnautica 2, Biobeds are going to be your best friend. Colonist Bunker (Chap's Blackbox) Biobed The first Biobed location is one you'll visit if you're progressing through Subnautica 2's main storyline. By traveling 220 meters southeast of the Lifepod, you'll find a bunker hidden inside of a cave known as Chap's Blackbox location. Screenshot by Destructoid The Biobed is on the left side of the room. Interacting with it will give you three additional inventory slots for the remainder of your playthrough. You'll also find a bioreactor, repair tool, and floor locker to scan.Colonist Bunker (Quaker's Meetinghouse) Biobed The next Biobed location is inside a Colonist Bunker, 250 meters southwest of the Lifepod. As you travel in this direction, you'll spot a part of a ruined structure's wall dangling off the side of a cliff. Underneath this is a cliff with an "X" on the ground, marking the location of a secret room. Screenshot by Destructoid Once you're inside the bunker, turn left to find the Biobed. Interacting with it will give you three more inventory slots. You'll also spot a rebreather, power storage, and tadpole fragment to scan, alongside an advanced wiring kit and copper wire you can stash for later.Colonist Bunker (Anita's Garden) Biobed The third Biobed is inside of a bunker 220 northeast of your Lifepod. Align your view with angle 60 on your compass before moving forward 220 meters and turning back toward the Lifepod. You'll spot a hole in the cliffside leading to a small cave. Swimming left inside of this cave will bring you to the bunker. Screenshot by Destructoid Once you're in the room, head down the hall and turn right to find the Biobed alongside blueprint scans for miscellaneous furniture items. Like the previous two, you'll gain additional inventory slots upon interacting with the bed.Colonist Bunker (Salvage) Biobed You won't have to travel far for the next Biobed, as it's located 200 meters north-northeast of your Lifepod. As you head in this direction and pass the Digestion Angel Comb, you'll find a platform on the ocean floor with a supply crate, Wakemaker fragment, and a wall rack. Nearby is a hole covered in blue-green coral that holds the Biobed. Interacting with the Biobed in this room will give you a Dexterity Adaptation, rewarding you with an extra quick-access slot on your tool hotbar. You can also scan the nearby Habitat Builder tool, Repair Tool, and furniture for blueprint fragments.Colonist Bunker (Nahema's Lab) Biobed The next Biobed is slightly farther away, located 380 meters southeast of the Lifepod within the ocean's high temperature volcanic biome. You'll need to unlock the Heat Tolerance Adaptation from the Spider Dome Angel Comb before venturing out to this area. Once you have Heat Tolerance, head in this direction until you're directly above a hole in the ground. Pan your camera northeast to find a crevice in a nearby cave wall. You'll gain another Dexterity Adaptation upon interacting with it.Colonist Bunker (Cicada Wreck) Biobed Similar to Nahema's Lab, you'll need to venture 480 meters east of the Lifepod into the volcanic biome. If you don't already have Heat Tolerance from the previous Biobed spot, grab it from the Spider Dome's Angel Comb puzzle before swimming toward this point. All Colonist Bunker (Biobed) locations in Subnautica 2
In Subnautica 2, you'll find Biobeds, alongside various utility and decorative items, inside of Colonist Bunkers. You can find these bunkers in the following locations:

  1. 220 meters southeast of the Lifepod
  2. 250 meters southwest of the Lifepod
  3. 220 northeast of the Lifepod (angle 60 on your compass)
  4. 200 north-northeast of the Lifepod (angle 15 on your compass)
  5. 380 meters southeast of the Lifepod (requires Heat Tolerance Adaptation)
  6. 480 meters east of the Lifepod (requires Heat Tolerance Adaptation)
  7. 440 meters north of the Lifepod.
Colonist Bunker (Chap's Blackbox) Biobed

Colonist Bunker (Sophie's Retreat) Biobed
The final known Biobed location in Subnautica 2 is located 440 meters north of the Lifepod. As you swim in this direction, you'll eventually find the Old Habitat POI, which'll appear on your compass for the rest of your playthrough. Rather than entering this wreck, though, your destination is a cave 60 meters north of this POI. After traveling an additional 60 meters north, turn right to find it alongside dozens of Pent plants.

Screenshot by Destructoid You'll find another hatch leading to Sophie's Retreat at the end of the cave. Inside is a Biobed that'll reward you with three inventory slots, along with several furniture items you can scan for building blueprints.
